The Vidyalaya was established in the year 1987. The Vidyalaya started running at Murgabadi, Baripada. It was the a single section Vidyalaya. Through its illustrious march over 22 years it has grown into a full fledged double section school upto Class IX after being shifted to the permanent building presently situated at Laxmiposi , Baripada.
